100 Racers and Trekkers Seven Divisions Four Separate Starts

Willsboro, May 21--  With the 2006 Patch Sprint just days away, event organizers are busy with preparations.  Of particular logistical concern are the various racing and trekking start times.       The full race has three separate starts (8:00am, 9:00am, 10:00am).  While each start time has a designation (Trekker, Racer, Elite), we want you to start at whichever time you are most comfortable.  The KinderSprint begins at 11:00am at the base of Mt. Pok-O-Moonshine.  Our hope is for all participants to finish on the summit of Mt. Pok-O-Moonshine between 12 noon-1:30pm.      The early weather forecast calls for sunny, warm conditions but "we don't want racers to switch to earlier, cooler start times just so they can have a faster time," said race co-chair Tim Singer.  Last year, on a particularly warm day, the 10:00am starters were subjected to slower-than-expected times.  However,  Singer warns, "In the spirit of sportsmanship, we ask that all competitive racers stick with the time that best connects them with other race contemporaries."      Listed below are the registered start times for all participants.  Please contact us if there is a discrepancy with your start time.  The list will then be made official for our race timers.

Parking is located in a lot 100 feet below the start area on the Camp Pok-O-Moonshine driveway (CPL).  Please do not park on the road.  Participants who will be staying at camp will be informed of their respective parking areas in their lodging letter.
