           BRESLER TAPPED AS RACE STARTER

Long time volunteer Matt Bresler has been promoted to official race starter and timer for the 2008 event.  "All of our other volunteers defected to the trekker division," said Tim Singer.
For his part, Bresler is "practicing the countown.  I already tend to mumble quite a bit, so the 'uh go!' part shouldn't be a problem."

Odds against winning the "Janny" as overall champion have been posted, and will be updated periodically leading up to the race.
