PATCH SPRINT IS CLIMBING THE CHARTS
Original Composition about the Annual Memorial Day Weekend Event
Song to benefit Adirondack Scholarship Foundation
Three-time Patch Sprinter "Buffalo Joe" Mattimore has written and recorded a song about the Patch Sprint.  Mattimore, a past trekker and racer who will be volunteering this year, is a singer, songwriter and bass guitarist for the Indie/Folk/Alternative group "Red and Roxy".  He writes:

"I wrote and recorded a song about the Patch and thought it might be a creative way to raise some funds for the Adirondack Scholarship Foundation. I posted it for sale on our myspace page, and folks can download it securely via a digital music service, using a credit card or PayPal. $1.00 from each sale will go to the Fund, and the remaining $0.39 goes to cover the digital music service fee.   All the money I receive I will pass on to the Foundation directly.

"The song is called 'From Those Bonds', and there is a music store portal containing it directly beneath the regular music player on the
myspace page:
www.myspace.com/redandroxy"

Also on the myspace.com page, there is a blog entry about the Patch Sprint.  "From Those Bonds", by Red and Roxy will make it's Willsboro premiere as part of the soundtrack for the 2008 Patch Sprint slide show presentation Saturday evening, May 24.
