| A recent flurry of registrations has pushed the total number of entrants some 20 people ahead of the 2008 pace, when a record 160 participated. "With the fee going up in a few days, we know we are going to be swamped," stated race director Greg Henderson. "There are only so many people we can officially allow to cover the course and, furthermore, we can only cook for, and house a set number. And we're drawing close to that number." The 2009 Patch Sprint is scheduled for May 22-24, in Willsboro. Here are some of the facts and figures surrounding the entrants: |
