As the winter nears an end, 26 have registered for the 2009 Patch Sprint.  Interested participants still have several weeks remaining to register online at the reduced $25 rate; the fee goes up at the end of April and "due to increasing numbers," says co-director Greg Henderson, "we may have to cut off the number of racers and trekkers in advance of race day.  At the very least, we will have a cutoff point on t-shirts, race numbers and aid supplies, so if you want those, you should get in early."
Of those registered so far in 2009, every division is represented:

OPEN FEMALE – 6
TREKKER – 5
MEN’S MASTERS – 4
OPEN MALE – 4
VOLUNTEER – 3
WOMEN’S MASTERS – 1
FRIENDS/DONORS – 1
KINDERSPRINT - 1
CLYDESDALE – 1
So far, $728 has been raised for the Adirondack Scholarship Foundation.
