| S.L.O.P. Weekly Patch Sprint Training and Race Series |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| The Peru Nordic Masters have announced the inaugural Seven Labors Of Patch training race series. There will be seven events, one each week, held on the world-famous Patch Sprint course. Racers will meet on Thursday afternoons at 5:00pm at the 1812 Homestead in Willsboro. Points will be awarded and the overall winner will receive the prestigious SLOP Bucket. The first "Labor" will be on April 1... a race from the pillars to the summit of Bare Mt. "This is a great opportunity to really get in race shape," stated Nordic Master Chris Rose, who annually trains hard for the Patch Sprint, before pulling out minutes prior to the start of the race, citing some mysterious injury. "And even for those who don't care about their time, the SLOP series is great for getting to know the course, and having lots of fun with friends." |
