PATCH SPRINT UNAFFECTED BY ECONOMY

REGISTRATION NOW OPEN FOR PATCH SPRINT 2009

January 12, 2009 - Willsboro, NY- Despite the worst economy since the Great Depression, the Patch Sprint expects to set more records in 2009.  "We're anticipating faster overall times, more money for the ADK Scholarship Foundation, and participants with an higher average IQ than the American populace," says race director Greg Henderson.
It's been well documented by unknown sources that Patch Sprint participants, donors, friends, volunteers, and kindersprint chaperones are more intelligent than average Americans.  "There's no rational explanation," says Henderson, "except to say that these four particular mountains (Bare, Rattlesnake, Sugarloaf, and Pok-O-Moonshine) somehow make people smarter and want to give more money to the ADK Scholarship Foundation."

Patch Sprint organizers want to make it clear that it is not their intent to shame people into giving to the ADK Scholarship Foundation.  "Quite the  opposite," continued Henderson, "it's more like pandering."
