THE

TORCH!

“The ‘Janny’ will not be won by Kobak or Fiegl!”

So states Danny Sheridan, famed oddsmaker and Patch prognosticator.  Jim Kobak holds the course record, set in 2004, while Fiegl has captured six overall titles; collectively, the pair has won every Patch Sprint in the 21st century.
“Kobak, at 41, will still be a factor and Fiegl could have a top-10 result, “says Sheridan.  “Either of them could conceivably come away with another trophy but, this year, they are not the race favorites.”

Sheridan’s official picks for all racers and trekkers are due several days prior to the race.  “I’ve got a good idea on order of finish- top to bottom- but as for times, we’ll just have to wait until we get an accurate weather forecast.”
