Record

Open Male

   Open to males of any age. Majority of racers begin at the 10:00am starting time, though this is not required.*

Open Female

   Open to females of any age. Majority of racers begin at the 9:00am starting time, though this is not required*.

Clydesdale

   Open to any racer 200 pounds or more. A weigh-in will occur prior to the race. A handicap system allows for each racer to receive one minute off of his or her final time for each pound exceeding 200. Division winners are decided by best "net" time..

KinderSprint

   Open to anyone aged 10 or younger. A race up the trail of Mt. Pok-O-Moonshine (1.2 mile well-marked course)
Chaperones will accompany the competitors. Reduced entry fee and awards for all finishers.

Trekker

   Open to anyone. Trekkers may walk, race-walk or run the course. Final times will be recorded, but no placings will be recognized in this "non-competitive" division. To qualify, trekkers must begin at the 8:00am start.
 

 

Awards will be presented to Overall Division Winners, and fastest time in each mens & womens (decade) age group

Winter Sprint

   Open to anyone. Sprint must take place between December 21st and March 21st. Competitors are on their own and must abide by the same rules in place for the summer sprint, although course order is discretionary and snowshoes and x-country skis are allowed.
   Competitors must be accompanied by at least one other person on each mountain.
  
For any competitor, only the first reported completion each winter season will be recognized. If you choose to report your attempt, you must CONTACT us within one week of the trek.

*CHAMPIONSHIP REQUIREMENTS:

  • The OVERALL CHAMPION ("The Janny") will be the fastest man or woman racing the 10:00am start only .
  • The OVERALL MEN’S CHAMPION  (Perpetual Men’s Trophy) will be recognized from the 10:00am start only .
  • The OVERALL WOMENS CHAMPION (Perpetual Women’s Trophy) will be recognized from the 9:00 or 10:00am start only .
  • CLYDESDALE champion may come from any start.
