Si nce 2000, the Patch Sprint has served as a fund raiser for the Adirondack Scholarship Foundation. Last year, $4,500.00 was raised by racers, trekkers, volunteers and friends with another $2,500 coming from a private trust.
The participant goal for 2010 is $5,000.00.
