LETTER FROM RACE DIRECTOR ERIN CANNING to all Patch Sprint Participants:
Dear Patch Sprint volunteers and participants,
The phenomenal success of the Past Pok-O Patch Sprints is but a reflection of the ever-increasing dedication and enthusiasm our volunteers, and other supporters, display. Thank you for your willingness to volunteer your services to The Patch Sprint, in our effort to raise money for the ADK Scholarship Foundation.
Your volunteer, and racer-trekker support assignments are based on your registration form. Attached you will find your assignments, and a description of each task. Please look over the assignments carefully (one sheet has a breakdown of volunteer schedules; the other has detailed descriptions of each task).
Take note of the date and times of your assigned duty. If you are unable to complete the assignment, please respond ASAP, so your job can be filled by someone else. If you do not have an assignment, we ask that you check in with us periodically throughout the weekend for any small task that might be needed. The person in bold is the point person for that job. They can answer any questions about your assigned duty in case a member of The Patch Sprint Committee cannot be located. With the increased size of the Sprint, we count on the volunteers as and integral aspect of the weekend.
The 2013 Pok-O Patch Sprint will be resounding success by all accounts, but we can’t do it without you. The Patch Sprint Committee and The ADK Scholarship Foundation appreciate your gift of time, energy, and enthusiastic support. We can never thank you enough!
If you have any questions or concerns about your assignment for next weekend’s gathering, please feel free to contact me.
