Over $14k Raised for ADK Scholarship

It was a record year for the Patch Sprint!

Our 188 racers, trekkers, volunteers and friends contributed a total of $11,222 to our beneficiary, Adirondack Scholarship Foundation. And once expenses for the event were factored in, an additional $3000+ was also allocated, making for a total of $14,570!

With this record amount for one year, all told over $160,000 has been raised since the year 2000.

"Patch Sprint participants are not required to donate," said ADKSF foundation director Erik Zimmerman, "but since they're told that their entry fee covers race costs only, most everyone does make a supplemental gift. We could not be more thankful!"

The Adirondack Scholarship Foundation raises funds to support families in need of financial help in giving their children a valuable summer camp experience.
